【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=개인용달 영동군지부(지부장 배병욱)는 3일 영동읍을 찾아 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용해 달라며 쌀(10kg) 30포를 기탁했다.
개인용달 영동군지부는 15년 넘게 이 나눔을 이어오고 있으며 올해도 어김없이 회원들의 정성을 모아 쌀을 마렸했다.
배병욱 지부장은 “경제적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들에게 정성을 담아 전달해 주었으면 한다”고 말했다.
서우종 영동읍장은 “매년 잊지 않고 찾아와 소중한 성금을 기탁해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “영동읍에서도 사각지대에 놓인 어려운 이웃들을 위한 지속적인 관심과 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
이날 기탁된 물품은 경제적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 취약계층을 위해 쓰일 예정이다.
