전북자치도 임실군이 ‘2025 임실방문의 해‘를 맞아 천만관광 시대ㆍ관광명품 도시로 도약할 수 있도록 각 사업 추진에 속도를 내고 있는 가운데 옥정호 인근에 조성된 한우특화거리에 ‘청정임실표 명품 한우‘ 맛집을 개장했다.
임실군은 13일 지역 대표 관광지인 옥정호 출렁다리와 붕어섬 생태공원 등이 있는 운암면 한우특화거리(쌍암리)에 총사업비 38억원(지방소멸대응기금)을 투입, 부지면적 2,624㎡ㆍ연면적 800㎡에 단층 규모로 한우 전문 음식점인 ‘옥정호 한우‘ 준공식을 갖고 본격적인 운영 준비에 돌입했다.
이날 준공식은 심 민 군수와 장종민 임실군의회 의장 및 지역 군의원과 기관ㆍ단체장을 비롯한 주민 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 열렸다.
오는 15일부터 본격적으로 운영될 ‘옥정호 한우 음식점‘은 154석의 넓은 공간과 내부에 가족 단위 고객을 위한 10개의 룸을 갖췄으며 청정 자연에서 자란 최고 품질의 한우를 사용, 지역의 특색 있는 맛과 품격 있는 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
특히 한우 농가와 상생을 통해 지역 경제 활성화에도 크게 기여할 것으로 예상된다.
‘옥정호 한우 음식점‘이 둥지를 튼 한우특화거리(쌍암리)는 옥정호를 방문하는 관광객들의 편의를 위해 총 300대의 차량이 주차할 수 있는 주차 공간 및 출렁다리와 붕어섬 생태공원으로 직행하는 셔틀버스를 탈 수 있는 곳이다.
심 민 군수는 “천만관광 임실시대를 여는 ‘2025 임실방문의 해‘를 맞아 많은 관광객이 임실의 먹거리를 즐길 수 있는 최고의 명소가 될 것으로 기대한다“며 “‘옥정호 한우 음식점‘을 지역의 한우를 활용한 다양한 음식을 맛볼 수 있는 곳으로 한우 관광 명소로 육성할 계획“이라고 말했다.
